A few months ago I bought a Sager laptop (NP8255) with the basic wireless networking (Realtek N/G) only. I recently got a new wireless router (with 802.11ac) and bought an Intel 802.11ac pcie adapter to install into my laptop. The problem is, I can't find the old wireless card to replace it. I found the pcie slot underneath the door under the 2.5" hard drive, but it is empty and there are no antenna connectors.
Any idea if/how I can install a new pcie network card into this laptop?

The slot you found is mSATA. The miniPCIE slot for the wireless card is located under the keyboard.

While it looks identical, it's also labeled. The board should have "WLAN" and "mSATA" next to their respective ports.
