Arrrrrrrrrrrgh! You did not take the floppy disk drive!
j/k of course. Congrats on your new lappy. You'll see Clevos are nice machines! -
Hope you fall in love with it.
[Nicely spec'd; and I hope 64-bit isn't going to give you trouble]
-
Nice rig, Congrats.
64-bit is fine... especially if you are not trying to SLI. -
the only area i saw that had a issue but i guess it could be a number of things was even with 64 i still did not show 4gb of ram it wet to about 3.07
-
nice specs there btw..
-
im still waiting for the 8800gtx
-
Nice rig!! We have almost the same specs although I got the NP9261 in SLI 7950 . I don't think that you'll have a problem at all with vista. Can't wait to hear your review of it
-
By a cheaper 8700 fro now and then buy a 8800..
Seems crazy to wait for a card that won't likely be out until 2008..
Do you really think its going to be that easy to get when it comes out???
Think about it.... Most people wait 1 to 3 weeks for a laptop...
Add a part that hasn't even come out yet... Your going to be waiting a long time... Ill enjoy my 8700's now and Ill buy the 8800's later when i am bored and need an upgrade...

not sure about that alienware has shown the new systems already on the web site with the configurations already
-
Ya, not to sure bout Vista, but Im planning on messing with both versions and if I cant stand it'll I'll always slap good ole' XP on it...shouldnt have an issue though....plus when SP1 for vista comes out, hopefully it'll be even better...
-
I have been using 64bit vista for a few months now and not had any issues with it. It has been really stable for me.
-
