well, i just installed vista64. i'm about to get a biiiiig barf bag. anyways, here's the setup and problems i'm having. first, i have xp home installed on my 40 gig c: partition. second, i have vista64 installed on 40 gig d: partition. or so i thought. i'm thinking for quite awhile "damn, vista took up 25 gigs on my d:" come to find out, when i boot into vista it's my c: and xp is d:. "WHAT THE @#$%?!?!" small beans, whatever. the other problem/s i'm having is vista doesn't even recognize my bluetooth nor my firewire. they don't even show up in device manager. i've booted into xp several times and they're fine there. i've tried every which way, even shook my computer violently upside down hoping vista would recognize it but no luck. and i meant that metaphorically, btw. my other known problem is "protector suite ql" and firefox. the protector suite, if you don't know is the fingerprint software. when i first used it in firefox, it was as simple as plug in download, and voila, it was working. no such luck with vista64. alright guys. help, please. i don't know when i'll be able to call sager. i've tried working this out on my own. the search function is down on this website, so i'm about to him up microsoft's nasty web called knowledgebase and whatever else my eyes and brain can feast on. thanks in advance for the awesome solutions i know you're all gonna come up with.

    Lol.....

Reffering to partitions as letters is stupid. Reffer to them as partition 1 and 2. All Windows OS will mount their partition that the OS is on to C:. So when you load XP, it will say C:, and when you load Vista it will say C:, but XP is on partition 1 and Vista on partition 2.
