there has to be one, it blows not having any control over it!
i am spoiled by my previous macbook pro's SmcFancontrol program, and i hope there is one for Clevo W860CU.

I remember reading several threads where the result was that there is NO fan control. The only control you have over it is by flashing the bios with modified fan speed.
Anyone can confirm? -
on a side note, is the fan supposed to be loud at idle, like, 41 dBa? and it kinda whines...

Exactly how you do that is at the moment beyond me. I remember a thread here somewhere about this. Anyone else can add to this? -
One thing to keep in mind is that deviltech's noise measurement was taken 15cms from the fan exhaust ports. Are you ever going to have your ears there?
