i only oc it to 3.8ghz, by setting the memory timeclok:8-8-8-22, and closing turbo. FSB set to 166mhz (I can go up to 170, but it would be to danger I think).
I decrease the VID support to 26 (it affects the temperature of CPU I guess). Uncore and IOH voltages are 1.195 and 1.1 as default. Also the memory voltage is 1.5V as well.

I am not sure a setting like this will be stable but it can hold in Everest's stabililty's test for 3~4 mins before the temperature went crazy and no blue screen. I didn't go any further because it was like 101c when I was running the Linx and the laptop just shut down by itself.

Do any one know how to adjust the bios in order to reduce the temperature to a reasonble level???? Plz help me. My cpu's temperature is like 57c normally and 70c with a few little software and a firefox. Overload for more than 5 mins would be dead I believe.
Just dont oc it? Well.... this situation would not be much better with no overclocking.......

Did any one has this kind of situation?

Have you ever opened it up to clean it for dust? Maybe a new apply of thermal compound might be in order?

btw, is that allright to have a cpu's temperature on 57c normally and 85c for fully loaded?
I don't think I will keep overloading my cpu for more than 3 mins base on what I normally do on this laptop...

Why don't I just quit overclocking my laptop then? Because It would have almost the SAME tempertures as I overlocking... I ranther oc it to get the higher performance with the same termpeatures of my harddrives.
