    1.00.08 and 1.00.08s ??? i assume the 1.00.08s is just the sager version of the clevo one correct??

    The current bios on the Sager update site is 1.00.07Sh; I don't know what point I'm trying to make, just info :cool:

    that is the old bios with the keyboard firmware added not the new one. sager does not put the bios on the web site for people to freely download. it takes a lot to get the bios file from them.

    The bios update was a fix back when I had my 5793 so that other video drivers could be used without them causing the gpu to down clock.

    ^^ which one. i was told the .08s was the one to fix that. the .07sh was just to add the keyboard fan control and wow control of on or off.

    id like the sager logo on screen and i have .08s here in front of me and would like to flash it but because the bios is a different file type im not sure if i can go back to the clevo one if i have a issue. right now there are 0 issues minus the style note logo.

    Z, are you just wanting the Sager logo then? Mine has it, I'm on .08s. My 5793 was ordered March 31st. I snapped a few images if you want them, don't know if that helps you or not. I know you mentioned getting the .bmp file for it.. let me know

    lmk if you need it grandhero i can supply any current bios fot the 579x series from almost any company. most say style note though only as few have branding on them. i have 7 different .08's now. they are all the same from all the different companies minus the sager one which is .08s, i am being told they are in fact the same except the "s" means its a sager bios.

    i also have a few bios' i made that have some different things added in them. i am still testing them though and i will not release them yet until i know they are stable. there is actually a lot that can be done with the bios but it depends entirely on if the hardware will allow the changes i make to be able to be utilized.

    OKAY DONT BOTHER.. the sager 1.00.08 "s" is the exact SAME THING as the clevo one. it will not add back the logo if you have already went to the style note bios. i have the actual sager download and just flashed to it.. its identical to the clevo one. 0 changes nothing different. i did a bios dump and compared both they are the same.

    so it appears the sager logo is not on this one. or at least once you have flashed to a different clevo version if you try to go back it does NOT add the logo back.

    back to drawing board. ill prob just photoshop as nice of one as i can and go with that.

    1.00.08s and 1.00.08 are the same thing
