anyone know anything about14inch laptop from clevo with desktop cpu+MXM graphic to compete with razer or other manufactures with coffeelake ?
clevo suffers from 2 things in laptops:
portablity (best weight-specs comapred to others like gigabyte/razer laptop)
battery which is again not comparable to the best laptops.
if they can bring it,why can't clevo?

Maybe I'm behind the times, but what sub 15" Razer offers desktop CPU and MxM GPU?

You can't really fit those into something in that size that is not 3 inches thick.

i know razer is like all other manufactures only bring mobile cpus but clevo on the other hand is pushing the limits and is mostly known for its deep customization and use of desktop-grade power/performance ,that's why i ask if there should be any new 14" laptop, the version with desktop cpu + MXM GPU could stands out among other 14"laptops.
as for thickness, w650 & n950/n950 in 15" has already proven to be not that thick but deliver the desktop power inside(or macbook / aero / razer / xps or others also have delivered the light-weight with high performance-battery-thickness ratio ), so in 14" form factor, clevo with nearly 2 decades experience should be able to bring nearly the same kind of laptop too.

there is mechrevo too with mechanical keyboard in 15" (z2) and many others are also bringing great features to the table but clevo hasn't yet.

Mechrevo is Tongfang's own gaming brand, we and some other companies on nbr sell these chassis - we're by no means limited to selling Clevo chassis these days. As you said, different companies offer different benefits so it's good to have a broad range.

There's just not the physical space in a 14" chassis for MXM and LGA CPU, it's a physical limitation rather than a technical limitation so to speak.

Even the current desktop 15 inch is outlier size wise.

Not going to happen. Anything that's 14" and in the same height range as a Razer is necessarily going to be BGA. Even if you had some sort of cutout to put the card flush with the mobo, that would mean more lateral real estate, so you'd either have to reduce battery size or increase the width of the computer.

that NB50 uses a LGA cpu and it is not so thick! I think a mxm3.0a card could be compatible too

Low power CPUs with lower power GPUs. Also still not that thin.

To answer your question, no. There are no 14' laptops with a LGA/PGA CPU and a MXM GPU as of recently. The NB50K and other varients offer a LGA CPU and solder/integrated GPU in a thinnish 15' form factor, but for a MXM GPU you need to step up to the P751TM at minimum, a much thicker, heavier, and bulkier laptop. It's just not physically possible to have an Ultrabook/thin and light with these features, unless you compromise to much (thermals, battery, or plain thickness and weight)

Cost too, such a machine would be very expensive.
