Hey! I installed 8.1 yesterday, called up free phone number automated lady speaking I just entered the numbers which shown up as my ID and after it was automatically confirmed, the automated lady read out the numbers which I needed to type back in order to activate it nothing hard.

I currently have AMD HD5770 on this desktop and I installed the drivers upon first boot up restarted it and everything is running fine alongside the games, watching movies etc. I cannot comment on the Office 2013 as I have yet to reinstall that.

Yes, you will need to activate Office again unfortunately. From what I have read, it's a little problematic due to KMS?

Here's a little more info: Is there anyway to activate Office 2013 on Windows 8.1 Pro?

And a workaround on transferring it: News/Discussions: Windows 8.1 RTM Build 6.3.9600.16384 - Page 259
