wana stick this in my 5792. any problems anyone sees?

Hell, if you have the money for it, go for it!
You can always return it if it doesn`t work. But man, that is a big hdd space monster -
just thinking dual boot with plenty of room left over -
Only thing that I see is that the 5400 RPM as a bit of a downer. What HDD do you have now? Is it a 5400 or 7200 RPM drive?
If it's 5400 RPM, then go for it; you're already used to your computers speed.
If it's 7200 RPM, then expect a minor dip in HDD response time.
Other then that, I don't think there's a problem with the drive. I'm pretty sure that the 5792 will be able to handle the full speed of the 3 Gb/s speed, but I don't know for sure. -
The data density packed within the 320GB hard drive should roughly compensate the lack of speed. More data in less space means access times are less, regardless of RPMs.
That's why I see figures that sometimes equate 250GB 5400RPM drives to roughly the same speed as 160GB 7200RPM drives.
anyone see any problems sticking this in a 5792?
