    The battery lasts a pretty short time as notebooks go. It took be about one hour at full brightness while installing XP to drain. I guess that's not *too* terrible, considering I was doing some pretty "intense" tasks at that brightness, but it could be better.

    for 17" gaming notebooks, its usually about 1.5 to 2 hours for batterylife.

    Its expected, since there are a number of powerful components.

    2 hours i say...

    Mine last night take 2 h and 15 minutes to reach critical level (10%)... mid brightness and mid tasks (just this forum, you tube, music, msn)
