    Hello,
I get a soft beep every minute with my NP 5135. I am running W7 64 bit, but if I mute it I still get the sound. It is softer than the low battery alarm but i turned that off anyway and it still didn't make any difference? Anybody with any ideas?

Sounds like it's a warning coming from the BIOS, which explains why turning off sound in the OS didn't work.

Something to check. Does it beep only when gaming or stessing the CPU? If so, when was the last time you cleaned out the vents and heat sinks? It could be over heating.

If it does it when idle, then you may want to check all your fans to see if they are operating. I do not know about your particular motherboard, but I know some will give warnings if the CPU fan stops working.

    I hope this helps some.
