You mean you can't use nVidia drivers? 260.99 supports 480m, not sure why not 470m.

cool, that new WHQL driver better install, this sager is notorious for not accepting most drivers without modded INVs.

I have an X7200 with dual 470Ms on Windows 7 64. I tried the download from BABYHEMI which I was able to download completely and install. While this driver fixed display and lag problems I have been having in my older games, it has made web pages flicker and slowed down some of my newer games.

I attempted to download the WHQL driver from NVIDIA but I keep getting the message that my manufacturer will not allow downloads directly from NVIDIA. If I try to bypass that and download it anyway, the NVIDIA pre-install check errors out saying it cannot detect compatible hardware

I may stick with the 485 driver for now to get some enjoyment out of my older games but I'm hoping for access to something that will balance out the web page flickering and restore some quality to my newer games.

@1341: glad it worked for you
@Cievo: i dont know what wrong with your system but mine worked perfectly, it might be because your system has a Sli setup and the driver is not optimized to support it, just my 2 cents :X

Still unable to install the latest driver from NVIDIA (I can't seem to install any driver I get directly from NVIDIA's site)

However, on the 485 driver listed higher up this thread, I discovered that when the driver installed it switched which GPU was primary, disabled SLI, and scaled back on 3D quality. In the NVIDIA control panel I enabld SLI, switched primary GPU to auto, and re-enabled 3D. After this, my degraded performance on the benchmarks for my newer games went back up to previous levels and i still have improvement on my older games over stock driver so this driver will work for me for now. (Flickering on web pages seems to have gone away as well)

I have the same problem but i fixed just replacing the .inf file to the 266.58 from the 265.77 just download the official 265.77 from Clevo and the 266.58 from nvidia
run 266.58 it's going to extract to your C/nvidia folder and fail installation
Now go to: Nvidia>Display Driver>266.58>Vista64bit>International>Display Driver locate nvcv.inf and delete it

Now go to :Nvidia>Display Driver>265.77>Vista64bit>or whatever is your display driver folder and locate NVCV.inf Copy and paste on the 266.58 driver folder where you delete the file before, now the drivers will install fine
