    Hi,

Thinking of buying a clevo 150rf. which reseller would you recomend fr buying from belgium?
I already checked a lot of them, the belgian ones are just no good though. Curently laplopplus from netherlands and pcspecialist uk look like the best deal.

Ps for hdd options is an ssd and a 5400rpm 8mb cashe hdd a good config? Read that cashe mem of hdd doesnt really do anything fr performance and 7000rpm options are far more expensive.

Small extra s, is it worth it to upgrade i5 6440 to i7 6700 for 50 euro? Since gpu is bottelneck i didn t think it would be interesting, maybe for other stuff then gaming?

Sellers provide win 10 in esd form and normal fr 20euro difference. Is that price difference just different because of not including a dvd?

I'm not allowed to link directly to our website, but if you go to the link in the above post and search for mysn (under the Germany section) you'll find our European website which is in German, French and English plus ships to all countries in mainland Europe. The cheapest option isn't always the best, for example check the warranty period (cheaper companies often only have a 1 year warranty), the shipping coverage (we offer full 2 year parts warranty with shipping completely free of charge) and so on :)

There's only £14 difference between the 5,400 and 7,200 HDDs but I really would recommend an SSD if you can afford it - it will make a huge difference to the general speed of the laptop compared to having just a 5,400 or 7,200 drive.

Seems like the .nl company you mentioned has ESD versions of 32-bit only, the 64-bit versions are OEM. The way that companies distribute Windows differes - for example some may install from the disk (pretty rare), some may buy Windows OEM disks but install Windows from an image and some may install Windows from an imaging server and burn their own disks (like we do). The price will differ depending on the method.

The general consensus is that i5's are perfect for gaming, and you will notice zero difference if you get an i7 for that. The only major difference between i5 and i7 is Hyperthreading, and games don't benefit at all from that, some even suffer from it (FPS decrease with hyperthreading enabled). So in short, if you plan to use your notebook for gaming primarily, the i5 is perfect. Should you be interested in CPU heavy tasks like rendering in applications that don't support GPU rendering (CUDA is way faster than using any CPU), go for the i7.

Just as reference, my i7 980 runs with hyperthreading disabled 24/7 as it literally hinders my performance.
