anytime i look over far distance in a big map i get 27-29 fps with graphic settings at ultra+1080p , i checked gpu and cpu usage and i found it to be 40% for both , im using the drivers that came with the clevo p170m , is this normal?

what maps specifically give you low fps. because I don't have problem with bf3 multilayer maps with 32-64 , high fps, using 12.7 drivers here. the only map where i get low fps is the metro map with 64 players . otherwise i have no problem with other maps.

i too get sub-par fps on those 2 maps, noshar canals works better though. anyway, metro works fine for me exept the cafe area, there i only get 30-40, as soon as i enter the metro it jumps up to 80 again.

Maps that work perfectly for me so far:

    Teheran Highway
    Damavand Peak

gonna test more later. have you tried using throttlestop? once i forgot it and my fps were around 25-30 everywhere on every map.

edit: ultra setting noAA @1080p of course
