    bios not installed

    Hellow
    I have Clevo Model D9T and product code D900T. I a have a single HD attached whis is set to ATA mode and the HD dosent get detected in the bios.
    It sometimes says bios not installed

    Sometimes it detects and i install the ATA drivers through F6 and installs the XP and after it reboots,I get a ble screen error saying which keeps comming.

    0X00000000 setupdd.sys-address f7418CAD base at F73EC000 Date Stamp 41107c8f.

    i dont know where is the underlying problem
    I changed the HD & memory still no good
    any sugessions will be greately appreciated

    is the HDD PATA or SATA?

    what kind of HDD is it.... brand... age?

    Have you also made sure that there was no memory errors or HDD errors before installing?

    It is a PATA HDD its a Hitachi Travelstar Model HTS721060G9AT00
    Age the label says MAY-06.
    I dont know how to check the momory errors.but i remove this HD and connected to a different Fujistu laptop the os got installed and worked fine.
