Hey, I was wondering what settings I need to use so my bluetooth card recognizes my cellphone.
I never used bluetooth before and just installed the software that came with my xr5 / Clevo D901C when I bought it.
When I open BlueSoleil I don't see my cellphone listed even while it's turned on and set to recognize devices.

In the bluetooth devices in control panel I tried several times to add/search new device but all the time get this message "Windows cannot find any Bluetooth devices. Make sure that your Bluetooth radio is attached to your computer and is turned on, and that your Bluetooth device is turned on. Follow the setup instructions that came with the device, and then click Search Again."

Also under bluetooth devices when I try to set "Turn discovery on" under options I get this popup "An error occured while windows was saving your settings. The following settings are not saved: Discoverability settings - Connection settings"

Don't know why it's complaining about a bluetooth radio though, I just want to use my cellphone to transfer some stuff back and forth.

Any help would be great, thanks

have you tried activating bluetooth via fn+f12? since the last versions you actually need to turn on bluetooth manually with that combination every time you boot.

Thank you very much Anthuzad, I really didn't know that but was sure I was missing out on something. Just pressed n+f12 and the device popped up. Thanks again, where can I buy you a beer ;)

Are you using the "Classic View" of BlueSoleil? The normal 'Windows-style' view is terrible in my opinion. Classic view is much easier.
