Do clevo cases have a high build quality? are the cases strong? stiff? prone to cracking? Any case issues with anyone?

    Thanks

Yes they are built very strong and solid. I've dropped mine countless times and it's fine.

No model has ever had an endemic of cracking like the M15x, as far as I'm aware.

"so glad I ordered Sager NP8660!!!"

    how is that relevant....?????

anyway I have had my NP9262 for 4 months now, and I travel with it. So far it has held up (it better). The Keyboard is solid unlike other laptops I have owned. The flex to the keyboard is almost non-existing. The LCD when I open is solid, but it does squeak. and does resist scratches I do not pamper this laptop like when I had my voodo (m855) now that was scratch magnet.

This was my first laptop ordered through a reseller at first I was weary, but so far I'm impressed. If I would recommend ordering through a reseller oh yes, best bang for the buck.. Coming to this website have opened my eyes to all the different resellers and builders.

    Hope that helped

my D900K is solid, about 2.5 years and strong. :)

Its so strong, it can give cars dents, while nothing happens to it. :D

    I went over it here:
Two years later... with my D900k

All of the Clevo notebooks I handled over the last couple of years have had excellent build quality. Very solid, no issues.

My own Sager, an NP5320, has been going strong for almost three years.
    Correct.

My 901C was built like a Honda, made to last.
My Toshiba on the other hand was more like toyota, complete crap
that was riddled with recalls and spent more time with Toshiba than with me.

My 2 HP's have been ok....no complaints and going on 1 year old for each
My DELL was ok after they replaced it but I gave it to my Aunt

Now I await the arrival of my M570TU :)

I've got the M570TU and I can say that it is by far the most rugged laptop I have personally owned. My top lid is aluminum and the bottom deck is tough plastic with a textured surface. The palm rest deck is smooth black plastic. Adjacent to the screen the plastic is smooth and transitions to textured and there are rubber feet to keep the screen away from the keyboard. Overall I am impressed with this laptop. It provides a toughened portable solution for a 17inch laptop.

Just like Gophn's D900K (Sager 9750) my D900K is 32 months old and I trully take it with me each work day to my clients (I do IT Consultancy). It's sturdy and hasn't taken a dent. Monitor hinges are still in great shape. Screen too. I'm using a small bubble-wrap page that I lodge between the screen and the keyboard to ensure additional security for transporting.

In 32 months, I've changed once the Battery pack, and 2/3 hard drives (due to normal wear & tear).
