If I order a sager without any operating system on it, would it be possible to install an operating system using a cd later on. I have a windows vista cd and was wondering if it would be easy to do. I got it as a gift but havent used it yet because my desktop is old and was waiting to buy a laptop for college. thanks a lot for any help.

Yes as long as its a retail copy of Vista. the laptop should come with drivers for XP and Vista but you can download them online.

Shouldn't be a problem at all. Assuming it's a legal copy of Vista like Kdawgca said. Plop it in and follow the prompts, Vista is simple to install.

And usually computers come with a utilities and drivers cd for whatever the OSes offered on teh system are.
