As long as you can find a 12.7mm SATA to SATA caddy, you should be fine. Even generics will work (though they may not allow you to easily attach the outer bezel for cosmetic looks).

It'll be sometime till I purchase a caddy due to SSD prices and their bugs

Can anyone recommend a 2.5 caddy? I found plenty of ones on EBAY that were not $40-60 which I find to be a bit ridiculous, but I was concerned with their fitment and quality of craftsmanship

    Thank You

I strongly suggest you to get the original caddy, some of the custom caddy cannot fit into machine. Even if it can be fit into, the cosmetic look is different

Well there are plenty out there for less than $20, as far as caddys go, I'm sure they are all quite similar.

And as far as the SSD bugs I refered, nearly every midrange SSD I was researching had a high rate of returns, several per customer sometimes. And there issues with any decreasing write Times significantly within a short period of time. Not to mention the price skewing.

But I understand its still newer technology and things will be fixed and made to be more affordable.
