    it is supposed to be the same.... it is the same chassis and motherboard only components are different i can;t see how that would make the outside look different...

    edit: just saw the pics on their site it does look different...........

    It's the same pictures that were used for the HM. Notice the lack on Onkyo branding on the speakers, the esata/USB2 vs. displayport in the back, the usb2 vs esata/usb3 on the left, the chiclet keyboard... All of those were HM features.

    On a side note I love that my HM has 5 USB ports if you include the esata/USB2 combo in the back. Is the displayport also a USB combo for EM notebooks? Or are there only 4 USB ports?

    but like ive heard and like the previous poster said, those might be just of the p170hm hence why i want someone with the satori p170em to post pics

    All of the pics on their website are of the old model, per actually talking to a rep with Malibal. I just got mine from them 2 weeks ago and it is exactly the same as the other P170EM's. They just haven't updated their pics yet.

    Malibal has not updated their pics. Those are of the p170hm model, and p150hm if you're looking at the lotus. Any current p170em model like the one I linked will look like the satori :)

    I have a Malibal P170EM and the pics in that link above looks exactly like mine. ALL P170EMs will look exactly the same. Like people have been saying over and over above, Malibal hasn't updated the pics and used the P1x0HM's

    haha i already paid for the p170em and i don't want a 15" cause only one HDD plus ODD. Also i don't want to have to screw around with the bios to get the 680M to work but thanks for your offer :)

    but i also can't complain, anything is an upgrade from what im using now, right now im using a Toshiba L500 satellite with a core 2 duo processor and integrated graphics card haha
