Don't worry im not talking about the system folder, but this file under C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2\Dist\win32\

its under my bfbc2 folder, and i need to reduce the size of the folder so i can move it to a RAMDISK, which is only 4gb, but can read and write at over 4.5GB/s, bytes not bits mind you. I looked at the date the folder was last accessed and it was when i had installed the game, so im guessing that its just some sort of backup, that is unneeded. any help would be awesome thanks.

    btw,
    gotcha!

I don't know specifically for that game, but since it's installed in your 32bit program files (x86), it might be used.

Easy test: Rename the folder and then load up BFBC2 to see if it works.

I will try that, but what i did was i copied everything else into a folder called bfbc2 on my 4gb RAMdisk, but it didn't seem to load any faster. i will do the same thing again, but i will rename the folder on my main hdd.

once i renamed the folder it wouldn't work at all, it wouldn't load, until i renamed that folder. too bad though because all of the other stuff was under 4gb, oh well ill just have to get an ssd or but 8 more gb of ram, and get the full version of the app, then ill have 6000MB/s write speeds...

im going to try again with bf2 and rename my bf2 folder on my hdd.
