    The 870m is more of a sure shot.

    I was hoping for the cheaper one since this is for backup...but if theres no way to be sure I guess I don't have a choice.

    On the plus side, you'll definitely get much better performance out of the 870m than the 860m if the time comes you need to fall back to the P170SM-A.

    Checked out the 860m, does look Clevo actually. It should fit ok.

    It’s definitely a Clevo card and will definitely fit, but there is no 100 assurance it will work right away. Only one way to find out. Worse case scenario it won’t work at all even with a bios flash and/or modded drivers. Best case, it is PnP.
