    can someone give me the hardware id of the screen in the 8660?

    im trying to find out what model is used in it since everyone complains about it being grainy.. im thinking about this system and will prob replace the screen if i get it if its at all grainy as people say it is

    I dunno the H/W ID, but check out "Video > Monitor Type, etc" in PC Wizard 2008. (Everest also)

    the hardware id will tell me what i need to know though an it should be easy to get for anyone

    Maybe they also use different panels like in my M570TU I have a AU Optronics panel while others report they have an LG panel. The AU Optronics panels suck. Maybe you should wait until you actually get it and hopefully you get a good panel?

    no im not ordering it if it has a crappy panel. thats why i want to know which one it is. someone help me out here and post the hardware id please?? thanks

    Yes but what if someone has one with a crappy panel and if you would order one you would get a decent panel or the other way around??

    almost every sager or clevo from the usa has used the same panel. it seems they use different models from eurocom or from europe. so thats wht i asked for a sager owner to post the hardware id hence the 8660 model number
