I will be buying sager np8278s soon. Just wanted to know wether 4710MQ will be enough for upcoming heavy games like battlefield, call of duty, assasins creed etc
Should I go for 4810mq (it will cost me 175$ more) ?
I plan to use the laptop for three to four years.
    Thanks and please do reply.

The 4710 is enough performance for a single GPU setup. Typically don't see the CPU be the bottleneck until you use an SLI setup. If you do something outside of gaming that's CPU intensive it could be beneficial to upgrade in that case.

No I will be using it for games only. I will order laptop form xotic very soon.
Just wanted to know that once I bought the laptop, will I be able to upgrade CPU and GPU, say after 2 years.
I will be using gtx 970m, which i think will be enough for 2 years. So may be after two or three years if i wanted to change CPU and GPU, would it be possible?

Also Can Np8278s be upgraded with SLI graphics?

Yup, anything listed as upgradable on the site is also something that can be done down the road by you if you choose to. We can't guarantee compatibility with future hardware but everything listed currently would still be an option to consider later on.

Good looking build. 8GB RAM is kinda on the low side for today's standards, 16GB is a good amount. But that depends on what else you'll be using the computer for besides gaming.

Also if it's a single stick you will loose out on a bit of CPU performance by being in single channel.

Yes, it's better to go with 2 x 4 GB sticks if you're leaning towards 8 GB. 8 GB - 12 GB of RAM should be fine, but it depends on how much you're going to be loading when using the laptop. 12 GB - 16 GB may be safer if you plan on pushing it.

Indeed.. Always have 2 sticks instead of 1... I have 12GB and it's actually kind off the best of both worlds.. 8GB is just not enough nowadays...

Unless you are using the IGP the impact is not actually as large as people think, if you plan on putting another 8GB in at some point it's not that silly to go for a single stick. The exact impact depends on the task.
