been looking into vbios for quite a while for the best performance of my 2 gtx 970m sli, I heard this is a great card to OC and was capable of beating the 980m which is made me more curious about it, I have never done this before so I was looking for some recommendations of where to get the vbios from and some tutorial videos, and if any1 has done this before and was it worth it, what type of performance difference did you get etc. its took me a while to get my laptop running perfect and sweet as I am happy with this I feel like i could push the cards a bit and enjoy it even more.

    thanks for the help :)

I haven't heard the 970m's can beat the 980m's but I have heard they should beable to OC decently, the only vbios I even know about that are aftermarket are prema mod vbios, I have never used them but I heard they help a TON...What is your specific question?

HI prema I don't know what a sig is lol. I am new to all this kinda stuff. I do software development but when it comes to this I am a novice lol. I have herd if it's not the right bios it can brick the card and stuff ? But herd nothing but amazing things from your vbios.mod read so much online about it and feel it is the way to go for me. Could you tell me the performance gain I have heard that it's unreal. Also how would it work with sli enabled do I have to flash just 1 time or 1 for each card

    Thanks

no prob, if you do use prema mod vbios let me know what kind of improvements you get...I so far haven't found the need to really tweak anything unless I am just doing it for fun but besides that the 2 980m's beast through everything I have tried...

I got it mate up and running just testing out the cards at the moment without changing the voltage I have got the graphics to 1228mhz and the memory at 2765. So quite happy with this so far. Maybe tweak the voltage see what I can get to with a safe temp dnt want anything high anyway. But looking promising

Slow and steady with voltage remember and keep an eagle eye on temperatures.
