    hi i am looking for a ultra portable laptop of these sizes, I know there is hardware comparison against alienware m11x r3 old, but worth paying $ 500-600 more for one of these old laptops alienware m11x r3 or used does well work? regards

    I used to have an m11x r1 & r2. Both had hinge issues. I got rid of them as fast as I could. I was not happy at all. Also I was experiencing a lot of throttling due to heat I guess. This is my personal opinion.

    and u now use clevo or sager notebook? razer edge pro its also bad as alienware m11x?

    The clevo will perform WAY better in every task and has a nicer screen.
