    clevo m570RU - power on on battery

    mine won't power on when its on battery, nor will another chaps who bought his from the same shop. was wondering if anyone else had the same problem, and if not what BIOS version are you using, I'm on 1.06

    You may want to call your reseller on this one, but is the notebook able to run on battery if you unplug the AC adapter while the notebook is in use, or does it just shut down immediately? I ask because the issue could easily be a defective battery.

    yep, spoken to the reseller - works fine on battery if I unplug it. It's literally just powering the thing on :( They are contacting Clevo directly about it on Monday.
