I was having some white wine and lemonade whilst using laptop and it went down wrong way which resulted in me coughing some out onto keyboard, now some keys dont work.

I found a clevo d900t keyboard on ebay, it fits perfect but does not work at all, is it dead or will that model not work in the m570a?

I am in the process of giving the original one a warm water bath, worth a try!

You would be best to contact your reseller for more help. They are in a better position to get you exactly the right part.

Hah, RJTech put that up for me after I dumped around 16oz of Mountain Dew on my keyboard and fried it completely. I love the service there...

Since then, yep. Love it. I do have a bit of screen bruising, which is mildly annoying, but there's nothing I can do about it and I manage to mostly ignore it. That and I kinda want to paint the palmrest *laughs*

You can always replace the LCD panel and the palmrest chassis component. ;)

Heh, replace the LCD? Doesn't that cost >$500? I'd rather live with it and save the money to upgrade to a better vidcard later. As for the palmrest... assuming I could install it (unlikely, as I seem to recall it requiring complete disassembly) how much would one go for, and where would I get it?

you can contact a vendor and tell them you want that part:
    - a notebook casing part like the palmrest can go from $50-150

as for the LCD panel, depending on which one, it starts around $300-ish for 17" panels.
