    the cmos battery has run down on ma clevo m57u. can anyone tell me where it is + how to replace it? Its not a big deal, i know, but its a bit of a pain having to hit the function key whenever i turn it on + it doesnt look good if i'm recording or gigging.

    The CMOS battery is on the top side of the motherboard, meaning that you would have to thoroughly dismantle the notebook chassis to gain access to it.

    You'll need at least 3 ounces of dilithium crystal to contain the matter/anti-matter reaction within the CMOS battery.

    Don't forget about that.
