    Hi to all.

i heave gericom supersonic force 17120 which is in fact clevo m660su. without any change in hardware it will not boot, there is no video on lcd (or external monitor) and after a couple of seconds after turning on i get beeps in sequence 1-3-3-1. that indicates problem with ram memory.
did someone had problem like this and if so hoe it was resolved. I did tried with another set of ram memory but got same result.
additionally does anyone know where can I get service manual or at least error codes for this laptop.

Hi cetverooki and welcome to nbr.

im not sure which clevo this is as there are so many worldwide model numbers that get a bit confusing after a while.

ive found this by google search User Manual Here but if you do a google search there are also lots of various drivers for this model you could try.

Hi cetverooki. Your Clevo M660SU is over three years old. It is one of Clevo's models that stayed in Asia and never made it to the North American market. The 1-3-3-1 sequence signals that you may have any of the following: defective memory, memory not properly seated, defective motherboard, or dead CMOS battery.

Be sure that you properly ground yourself as well as remove the battery and the power plug from the laptop before opening the notebook. You may have zapped one or more of the modules that you were swapping into the machine.

If all else fails, then remove the CMOS battery and put it back in after a minute. And if that doesn't work, then that means that your motherboard is dead.

    Thanks to all

i did tried to reset bios but did not help. i heave taken to a frient to try couple of memory modules. i did get some info from Gericom (whose name it written on laptop) by email stating that according to beeps it is a graphics card that is bad. nearest service department is 600km from me so that might conclude my search for solution.
