Hello I am considering buying a p750 but had a few questions.
Is it possible to connect it to 2 external monitors?
If I buy it with a small SSD and no HDD, is it relatively easy/ safe to install one later for a beginner?
Same question for the memory, considering buying 16gb x 1 stick for now and hoping I will be able to upgrade later to 32gb.
Also how difficult or expensive might it be if I want to upgrade the screen to 3k or 4k eventually, or is that out of the question?

Also I won't be able to easily send the laptop in for support if I do have any problems as I will be bringing it outside the US so I need to get the most reliable machine I can that has been well tested as I really don't want to go home empty handed. I don't plan to do anything extremely stressful, only want to maybe do light gaming and don't mind if the graphic settings have to be on low. (definitely want to be able to try PUBG)

Thanks a lot for any advice you can offer, right now I am considering HIDevolution, lpc-digital, pro-star, and eluktronics. Also want to say thanks to the website as I have learned a lot here over the past 2 weeks from doing a lot of reading and research.

Yes you can connect it to two external displays and in regards to swapping drives its super simple. For memory I would go with 2x8 unless you plan on throwing another 16GB stick in there rather soon too...and as for the panel if you do not order the 3K/4K panel to begin with you will need to swap eDP cables ($60~150) and get the panel ($120~300) and basically take it all apart. If vendor did it they would also charge you so ($40~80) plus shipping costs.

Since you are going to be outside the US HID does offer international warranty options but I would also go with panel you want from the start because that will be major headache down the road if your beginner.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I live in Peru so I don't think an international warranty would help me as the customs system is a mess and packages can get stuck there. It is especially bad for electronics. I am also a US citizen so I will be able to send it in if necessary when I return to the states again but would really rather not have to deal with any serious problems. Do the other resellers do sufficient stress testing in your opinion? Would love to go with HID but I really need to keep the price under 2k. The cost of future upgrades to me is not as important as long as they are possible and not ridiculously expensive.

Don't get a clevo then. Go for something more reliable such as MSI or Acer. Clevos are broken devices that don't work properly out of the box.

    http://www.xoticpc.com/msi-gt73vr-titan-427.html?startcustomization=1

Select Thermal compound with ICDiamond and you're good to go. This will be relaibale and feel like something worth spending money on. It will have way more performance than you need and will feel worth using. @Phoenix had this notebook and he was really satisfied with it.

Having had both the MSI machines also need modding to get the most out of them. You just start at a lower base with the slower mobile CPU in terms of cooling.

Not sure how on earth the MSI would need modding unless you try something crazy like 5ghz+ on the CPU or 200W+ mod on the 1070.

So 4.2ghz is almost the same as 5ghz? Sure why not. Lets pretend that.

lets ignore reality and claim 4.2ghz is close to 5ghz.

    4.3 (8700k)
    4.4 (7700k)

Is a lot closer to 5Ghz than 3.3Ghz.

3 major flaws in your logic.

1.) So far we are talking about the 8700
2.) The MSI has a 7820HK, which is unlocked and does not run at 3.3ghz
3.) There is no mod required for MSI to run the 7820HK at considerably higher clocked speeds, since the MSI cooling system is vastly superior to the garbage Clevo has.

I am far from an expert but if you want it for the same reasons as me it has been great. If you use thinkorswim and external monitor then I would definitely recommend getting higher res than 1080p. not sure about other broker platforms but we cant have different font size settings for each monitor which has proven to be a major headache. Wish I went for the 4k. Also recommend backlight reduction, mine is bad. Take care.
