clevo w860cu bad camera quality..

i have a clevo w860cu and camera's quality pictures are very bad.is there a problem with the software or drivers??thanxx and sorry for bad english..

 

i think you will find most 2mp cameras are just basic. if you are in a darkened room then the quality will be bad. try it outside in daylight and see how that is just to compare the quality.

 

i'm inside a very bright room and it's still very bad quality..any suggestions?also i have an acer aspire 5930g and the camera quality is far superior.

 

you could try updating the iintergrated camera driver for 7 & vista but this was released on october 2009 so most prob the one youve already got loaded.

Most web-cams are very bad, not much you can do. You could but a usb one, but why bother? You could get decent quality but no where near a digital camera. If you use skype or other video chat, the quality will be further reduced by the streaming.

 

did you try the above driver johnny even though i dont think it will make much if any difference.

works here. opens a direct link box and press save. it might take a few seconds to open.

Drivers can't fix something that sucks.

 

i think its fine
i use it with skype frequently, no complaints
maybe play with the image settings if new drivers dont work
