Stuck pixel, search the forum, there is some video which you should leave playing for 24hrs which should fix it.

Or you could just play a game :p

If you can't get it to go away after that, call clevo or the place you got it from. Sorry about the bad pixel, damn nice notebook though.

If the pixel is black, it's dead. If it's any other color, it's stuck.

I think that's how it goes, correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, that's how it goes afaik as well. I had 11 on my returned 8760 so 1 is not so bad. 5 is the minimum before Sager says it needs to be replaced or if its located near the center I believe. There's also a fix where you rub the screen while the pixels applications mentioned earlier are running.

    Good luck.

I have one pixel that will get stuck on green every so often. If I just press it for a second with my thumb it goes away for weeks to a month or more. I don't mind doing that every so often. I tried jscreenfix and it didn't fix it but seeing as how it happens so seldom and is so easy to make go away I don't worry about it.

I have the exact situation and remedy it just like you do. Reappears infrequently enough for it to be a non-issue.

The first time I got it out was with a firm and somewhat pointy pen cap that I rubbed on the stuck pixel with a cloth over the cap. I did have to use a decent amount of pressure for it to go away.

Yes thats a possibility. I just kept applying more pressure little by little until it started flashing then finally disappeared.

Did you see it from the beginning or did it appear after a few days? Where did you buy your laptop?

I have never even seen a dead pixel anywhere in my life.

I avoid sellers, who offer no dead pixel quarantees as an option, like the plaque. I suppose there is a connection.

It's highly unlikely. If you read customer testimonials for example for German Clevo resellers you will see that bad pixels also appear on laptops from resellers not offering dead pixel warranty. Also some resellers don't show no dead pixel option on their webpage but you can arrange it directly with them if you want.
