    hi!currently i have a gtx 260m gpu and i'm planning to upgrade to ati 5870m.does worth the upgrade?I'll see a difference in games?thanx!

    Evern when I went from a GTX 260M to a GTX 285M the increased performance was very noticeable.

    i think people here were telling you to get the 280m instead of the 260 in the first place

    NST/nTune is a utility independent from the main driver, but it is added onto the Nvidia driver control panel. When you install it, you should be able to play with some of your clocks, atleast your max levels, to a certain extent. For the most stability, reliability, and flexibility, BIOS level overclocking is still recommended. I don't recall any of the newer drivers to be incompatible with NST on a Clevo, but try it out and see. I haven't used NST/nTune since the 72.xx days.

    except for some very irritating bugs in their drivers for OPenCL and OPenGL support lately :mad:

    It Soviet Sunrise is willing to ship to Greece, then I'd say that 285m is your best bet.

    i want ati 5870m because of the directx 11 and i think it's better from gtx 285m,isn't it?

    now that gtx 460m and gtx 470m comes what guys do u suggest?to wait or buy an ati 5870m?

    Just talking about benchmark, 5870 is better than 460M. But I would wait for 470M's benchmark. Won't take a few days.

    GTX 470M will perform better than the MR HD 5870. I will upgrade to that card, unless the price is way too high. But I expect it to be between 400 and 500 dollar, so still more expensive than the MR HD 5870.
