    Hi all,
I cracked my clevo D901C LCD, it’ a WUXGA glass view 1920X1200, it’s not so badly cracked so I was wondering if there is a way to repair this? Or I have to replace. If you look closely it appears that there is some kind of glass or film covering the LCD, what it looks that this film is cracked and not the LCD.

OMG I'm so sorry, so yeah, just call up whoever you bought it from, and that glass is a glossy covering that comes standard for WUXGA.

Not so bad? Well, call a barebone reseller, like RJTech for spare parts. You might want to check with your reseller on this one.

Well for one, mostly all the resellers sell standard WUXGA screens with glossy.

There's no way to repair that, sorry - it's like trying to fix a cracked windshield. You'll need to have the entire unit replaced which, assuming the prices hawkeye posted are accurate, will be quite pricey . . .

these are the price given to me by mail from eurocom and rjtech, in other places like lcds4less it's 595$ and you can get it slightly blemished for 375$,
on ebay i found one listed on BLISS COMPUTERS LCD SCREEN STORE for 265$ it's LP171WU1 (A4) (k4) compatible grade A.

i think i'll go for the one on ebay.
