    Hi,

I notice there are quite a few drivers for vista 64 bit on the clevo website for the d901c

    CLEVO - Download

Do I need to download/install these for windows 7 or will they be installed automatically?

Ive been having a few problems the d901c with windows 7, without the drivers installed. It keeps shutting off while playing l4d, no blue screen, just shuts off. I have just dusted the inside to stop it from getting hot, so fingers crossed this works.

In XP didnt have any problems once, so this is strange.

Win 7 also will not let me clone my desktop at different resolutions , whereas XP would. It seems win 7 doesnt actually support cloning desktop at different res.

Any help is much appreciated on these issues :)

Could well be a display driver problem. What card(s) do you have. Check with the manufecturer for updates!

When I try to clone my desktop (1920*1200, like yours) to a monitor with lower resolution, W7 will adjust (lower) the resolution of my main display. That's normal behavior to me.

For the video card you do not need to use the CLevo drivers. Go to nvidia website and download the latest driver compatible with your video card from there.
