I bought my sager 9280 last year october.
today I turned on my notebook and for some reason there is no audio output through the headphones jack anymore.
I tried my extra speakers and two different headphones: no sound. the system still tells me that I plugged something in, but no sound. without anything plugged in the notebooks speakers play everything fine.
Yesterday the sound output thourgh the headphones jack worked, today it doesn't.
Can anybody think of reasons?
What can I do to fix this?
thanks in advance,
brato

2 years ago, I had a very similar issue on my Clevo D901C (the predecessor model to the Clevo D900F), even the message that something is already plugged in into the jack.
No solutions seemed to work.
Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Audio Driver solved the problem for me, it can be found in the "Drivers and Utilities" disc that came with your Sager Laptop, this is probably the most straight-forward solution. -
thank for your help.
now, the next morning and after a restart it works again but I do not know why. I should have tried re-starting the system yesterday (but why restart right after booting up?).
well, let's hope it keeps working. I wish I'd know what's going on though.
d990f from sager: headphones jack no sound output?!
