I just got my 5760 and i have two dead pixels. The first one doesn't bother me, but the second one is black just a little off the center of the screen.

Does anyone know how to determine the area of the screen covered my sager's new screen replacement policy?

    Thanks

    hmm sorry to here that,
its very uncommon to have dead pixels on notebooks.
Call your Sager reseller and ask for info on the replacement of the LCD panel.

I don't know the laws in the USA but in Australia you could return it for a refund/exchange as being faulty. If you just got it within the last few days contact them and ask?

Last I read, it went something like this:

    - Divide the screen in thirds both horizontilly and vertically (like a tic-tac-toe board)
    - Anything in the center square is considered the center of the screen.

Contact your reseller or Sager directly. Sager has a little utility they will email you that will put the # sign on your screen. If your dead/lit pixel is in the middle square they will replace your screen with no hassles.
