    is the 0 dead pixel option worth getting? how often do you get a dead pixel with sager/clevo. and suggestions/answers would be great. Thanks :)

    good question... I'd like to know the general opinion of that one too. anyone had any experience?

    The general consensus here is that it's not needed for most cases.

    Sager has a more tolerant standard policy than a lot of vendors. If you divide the screen into ninths by creating a tic-tac-toe board, you're guaranteed to have no dead pixels in the center ninth and no more than five total.

    Just because they have that policy doesn't mean that you're guaranteed to get a dead pixel if you don't get it. As I understand, 80%+ of Sager laptops arrive with no dead pixels at all. If you want to be absolutely sure you don't get any, you can get the option.

    Also keep in mind that most resellers offer a return option, so if you want, you can return the laptop.

    Yeah, thanks... I didnt get the dead pixel policy in the end. I just dont think it's worth the extra 200 bucks. Crossing my fingers now!
