    Something is weird with my np8170 internet speaker settings, the control panel for it only lists it as 2.0 speakers, i've installed thx truestudio too but that says "there is no supported audio device detected"

    Do i need to reinstall a driver from my drivers cd?

    Nevermind, i reinstalled the sound drivers and it's detecting all the speakers now.
