    Hello,

I have looked around and this option isn't available, I think this would be a beast of a machine do you think these are going to eventually be available? Is there something holding them back right now is that why it isn't happening now? Thanks guys

sure there is, namely the Clevo P570WM. It works with 980M gpus in SLI. It hasnt been refreshed yet, so its still based on Ivy Bridge-E CPUs (48xx and 49xx desktop series). No one knows yet, if theres gonna be a successor coming this year....so lets just wait and see :)

Sager stopped ordering it so all sager resellers don't offer it. Lack of demand meant official development of firmware for the machine has stopped.

Yes although if sager were to sell the machine again the bios would still need to go through official validation.

And it's HUGE! Truly a monster. But still more portable than a desktop :D

You will get more stares with that than any MacBook Pro :D

Well, yeah, an awesome beast... I really do like mine a lot. I just learned today that Eurocom is not the only North American source. @Ashtrix posted a link and it looks like our friends over at Malibal also sell this wonderful monster... http://www.malibal.com/notebooks/nine-x570se/builds/

You can see several nice examples of this model sporting 980M SLI and some serious face-melting benchmarks from this bad boy over in this thread: **Official Clevo P570WM | P570WM3 / Sager NP9570 Owners Lounge**

And, hopefully it won't get "refreshed" except with an X99 option. There is really no point in running a desktop CPU if it is only an i7 Quad. It's the 6 and 8 core i7 desktop CPUs that are really the ones worth having if you want the best performance that money can buy (applies to desktop or laptop). Otherwise, a mobile Extreme CPU is almost as good or in some cases actually better than a desktop i7 Quad, depending on which CPUs you are comparing with. Most of the examples of desktop Quad CPUs in a laptop that I have seen do not overclock as well in a laptop as a mobile Extreme CPU, so the mobile Extreme in many cases will actually outperform the desktop i7 Quad "K" CPUs. 3DMark 11 and Fire Strike physics scores with an overclocked 3920XM, 3940XM and 4930MX at 4.5-4.6GHz in my Alienware laptops are darned near identical to physics scores in the same benchmarks with a 4790K running at the same clock speeds in the new Clevo laptops.
