dont question dealing with xotic pc...

i was a bit scared at first due to it being a lot of money and having a small problem with my first system. not really knowing justin or xotic yet i was not sure how it would pan out. i spoke with justin this morning and he assured me everytihng would be okay and everything would be taken care of. im awaiting a call later to finalize the exchange and ill post back once that is done. but so far i give them credit they have been awesome to deal with and i can still say i would recc ordering from them. ill post with more info a bit later.. thanks justin and xotic pc

 

got off the phone a little while ago again with justin, everything is set up and ready. they will even do an advance shipment.. wow... again i cant say it enough so far this has been a great experience. im sure the new one will be everything i wanted.. i even added a few extras i was not going to originally lol.. thanks again justin

 

Agreed, and I can only image what it's like to be dealing with laptop buyers day in and day out with so much changing. I was about ready to cut my own head off with all my questions, and I consider myself pretty hardware saavy

What are they doing for you?

 

i got a system with a screen with 2 minor issues it was VERY DIM.. and has a small darkened spot about the size of a fingerprint in the right corner which goes away when rubbed but slowly comes back. it wasnt to bad but was noticable to me. i asked for an exchange and they set it up for me. i was initially somewhat worried about then doing an advance exchange being they authorize extra funds on another credit card while the other one is going back. also when i ordered a item was backordered i really wanted so that will get added in this time as well as 2 other things i asked for as well. im paying for the extras but im very happy it went smooth and the exchange was setup in one day. they even were able to discount some of the added shipping fund to me. all in all a very very smooth (so far but i cant see it being any different) fast transaction. i saw a 5790 system over the weekend with the wuxga and the screen was MUCH brighter than mine on the 5791 the main reason i asked for the exchange over all im sure once the new on comes this will be everything i want in a system. i loved it minus the dim screen..lol i prob should have went matte but i really like the gloss screens..

 

thats really good to hear. =/ wish things where going so well with my t61p return. Finally just called my credit union and they said they will start right away with a reverse charge for me can't wait to do a order with a all American laptop company.

 

They only let you do one exchange right? Careful I read about a few problems with the sager screens of late. Some are coming in dim, some are grainy, some have bad light leakage and theres also a few people who have faint ghost lines over a certain color. It gets worse as the notebook ages. When do you get it? Check your new notebook carefully and give us a review. You're paying top dollar for this one so don't settle for second class product.
