hi. i am not sure if this is a dumb question but my FN key doesn't work. is there like a driver for the functionality of the FN key that i can try to reinstall? thanks.

KBC or w/e Firmware I think??
-
forgive me but what is KBC?
-
I've never seen a Fn key that needed a driver, but it's possible, sure.
-
so if my fn key doesn't work, i have to get a driver?

Sorry I should have written it out. -
In whatway is the fn key not working?
If nothing is happening when you press fn+any function key, then call your vendor. There is no driver for function keys, the KBC controller controls them, but is firmware in the motherboard, not a windows driver. If the kbc/ec were bad, it is likely that the keyboard wouldn't work at all. -
There is software which controlls the popups showing that the keys are being pressed though. The keys should generally still work without it.
dumb question? does the FN key have a driver?
