Well I decided to try out the esata usb combo port in the back of the laptop. I experienced 2 things. If I have my multiple HDD esata enclosure plugged in during bootup it seems to get stuck on the windows logo.

If I plug it in while in windows nothing happens. Any ideas guys?

My first guess is that the port doesn't support port-multiplier JBOD enclosures. Try hooking it up with just one HDD in the enclosure.

Hmm yeah you could be right, I can't be bothered removing the HDD's right now so I will just keep it hooked up to my desktop. Thanks Epsilon.

Epsilon is correct, try with one HDD and see if that works.
