    Hi

I have the clevo P150HM equipped with i7-2720QM, 8go 1600Mhz RAM et ATI HD 6790m graphic card.

It works fine for gaming like Dirt2.
But when I use one of my existing Excel 2010 file and want to change a graphics(X or Y axis format) the response time is very long. SOmetimes it's blocked. I have no problem on my on my old laptop desktop PC

DOes anyone have a hint on what I should do to avid the problem?

    Thanks in advance

    Loïc

Hi, not sure what you mean by blocked? But I had some problems with powerpoint displaying presentations. I managed to fix the problem by (do this in Excel): Going to "file" menu, go to "options", then click on "Advanced", scroll down to "display" and check the "disable hardware acceleration" box. Sometimes this setting screws things up, and disabling it can remove some sort of video display conflict. Might work for you too :)

    Thanks for your reply.

I tried the modification on excel 2010. Problem remains. "Blocked" meant you wait a very long time.
I switched back to excel 2003 and the problem disappeared..so I will stay with my od excel.

I suspect the HD6970m graphics card not to switch to high speed mode when to deal with "graphic application" such as Excel 2010 graphs
