    my sager 2090 fan keep turn on and off like every 1min anyone know how to fix this. i am just using firefox and avast virus scanner running in the background. i update the bios to 1.12.

    Did you re-install OS? Check that chipset driver is installed, maybe it's a speedstep failure.

    using RMClock http://cpu.rightmark.org
    and/or
    CPU-Z http://www.cpuid.org
    It will tell you the exact clock that each core is running, If they don't go below 2Ghz (T7300) when idle then something is wrong with power administration.
    It should go as low as 800Mhz and 0.85v in lowest power mode.

    I just checked my core speed in cpu-z and the lowest i get is 1596mhz. I see it drop down to 1200mhz range every now and then, but we are talking like once every 3 minutes and it immediately jumps back up.
