I have a sager np2096. Should I get an extra battery now or should I wait later? I'm just worried that waiting might mean they might run out of batteries. When is the latest I should order an extra one?

Get it now! Get it right now! If you wait, they might run out.

You do know the 2096 has up to 4 hours of battery life. So to get an extra battery. That's going to be an all day usage on battery.

I've learned that batteries get more expensive as the model is superceeded. Get an extra battery while the laptop us a current (or near current) model.

as long as you do at least one full charge cycle (discharge to full recharge) each month, the batterylife should remain healthy.

almost 3 years of daily usage/gaming and it has not degraded significantly at all. :)

....never overcharged it (leaving it plugged in for more than 2 days while the system is on)

I didnt even do undervolting until a year ago... ;)
