**which HDD would be better the 320gb 5400 rpm or the 320gb 7200rpms?**
any other opinions on it are welcome and appreciated![]()
I was trying to decide between this and the 8660, but im gonna go with the 17"

well, the 7200 hdd will definitely be faster but battery life will take a dip as high speed drives take more power and more sound.
-
that spec looks solid
the 320GB 5400rpm drive is as fast as the 200gb7200rpm drives... so its even better with being cooler and having more storage. -
5796>>>>>>>>>>8660
-
Actually the 7200rpm drive can save battery life, depending on what your doing. It gets the job done much faster, and therefore using less battery

hmm... well im gonna be gaming and doing school work, so which do you think i should chose, it's not going to be plugged in at all times, nor the opposite, i *can* plug it in at school, but i dont want to be rooted to a wall lol
which do you guys think would be best? -
bang for the buck is 320gb 5400rpm.
-
thanx
more bang for the buck is always awesome
going to purchase the NP5796
