guess What Just Arrived?

Allrihgt i just got my 2090,

First Impressions
-Smaller then i thought, a happy surprise
-There doesnt seem to be any Instructions or any documantation other then the limited warrenty Booklet.
-My Sager was in an IFL 90 Box..??
- At first i was wondering why there were two plugs for the charger, and with a little investigation i see one is for Europe land.
-The Shipping box was Significantly damaged, yet no damage whatsoever to the Sager
- I really like the layout of the PC. Pictures do not do it justice.
- I was worried about fingerpeints but they dont seem to be too bad, which im ahppy about.

Anyways Ill load some of my pix.

 

niice.. i got mine today as well. im lovin it, the little bar above the keyboard where the power button and wow audio and video keys are seems to be a little scratched or somethn.. how does yours look

 

Allright Im running Windows Vista install as i am typing.

Mynes seems a little scratched too, I think theres Protective tape on it though.

I havent loaded anygames yet, still working out all the driver kinks, but i will post up when i do. I think myne was about 1500 shipped. GREAT PRICE. My WOW Audio and video dont work alling with the smaryt charge

 

Drivers for WOW audio and video and smart charge should be in the cd comes with pckage. I got smart battery to work but didn't install wow video and audio cuz I don't have any plan with them.

Allright i have an update,

I must say that the battery life is awesome! Ive been On battery for 3 hrs now dling large files and uploads and it still has 20% left.


The WoW Buttons dont work but the Mute/ web button work...?

The smart charge button doesnt work either but oh well.

The bluetooth works well, i sync'd my Nokia phone with the PC no problem

The Finga print reedah is cool too.

I have only loaded 1 game so far... battlefield 2, and havent run it because im Dling patches. Oh boy... Ill update tomm

 

Onimun what brightness do you set your screen to? Also is it WXGA screen? I'm quite interested in squeezing more battery life out of my laptop

 

question for ya what is your cpu idle at... cause mine is always jumping up to like 60% at times when i have nothing running, and are you runnin 32 or 64 bit

I do hope you mean it is for European CONTRIES?
And if you do, I might advise you that UK and EU mainland use different plugs ... so (just to be entirely complete): what's it for?

*sigh* so am i (well, my Rock Xtreme 770: same laptop, different name )

 

I Had the computer on High performance mode, with screen on full brightness and my battery lasted about 2 + hrs. I loose about 1% of battery every 3-4 minutes on high performance mode

My Procesor active light ( located on the upper right of the laptop) Is costantly blinking..? yet im only using 1-4% of the CPU. The computer using about 25% of the memmory Idling. I Havw 2 GB memmory

My screen is WXGA. I kinda wish there were more brightness settings. Theres about 8 screen brightness settings. Yet Full brightnes is great, and FUll Dim is perfect. Just wish there were more middle settings.

Also i really wish my Smart charge would start working, dunno which drivers i need to load.

Also this things stays cool really well. Even downloading large files, and under load i can never hear the fan come on

 

I have the active light contantly blinking too. So I guess having 3 hrs battery life on max battery mode with wifi on and brightness set to 2 steps down from max doing web browsing and music listening with wsxga+ is normal?
I just wish they could provide the brightness setting and audio level on screen.

BTW, jus wondering what's the bios version everyone got? Mine is 1.09

 

Is there a way to remove Windows Bluetooth Application? It doesnt have as many features as Sagers Application in the driver disc.

 

I got 1.09 but I flashed the bios to 1.10 myself. Meh don't really see the difference.

 

HclBr where did you find 1.10 bios? I couldn't find bios for np2090 on sager website, they said to call them to request bios but I called and the toll free phone number isn't working.

UPDATE:

I just Ran both Battlefield 2142 /2 And both run great at great settings.

On BF2 I was At Max settings and ran 70 FPS or so. Ran very well

I dont know how correct this is but, I ran 2142 at almost max settings and achieved about 80 FPS. Go figure

I tried to take screen shots but stupid vista sucks at life and they didnt work. If i find them ill post em

wow that's nice onimun sucks that I don't have battlefild 2142 to test out. But FEAR runs really well every setting max except soft shadow off on 1480x1050 resolution, occasionlly some stuttering but other than that speed is smooth.

 

Yes, I was very surprised how well this machine performs. I might be able to say that its better then my HP with a 7800 GTX...

Since this computer has N capabilities and i have an N router, i only get about 40 Ping while playing, compaired to 80-100 ping on my desktop.

I took some screenshots yet the Fraps number didnt show up? Ill take some more next time i go gaming
