    hdmi out to tv problem... no sound

    its a x8100 btw. just as the title says. i don't know if its a setting or what but its getting annoying cuz i can't figure it out... help please...

    You mean the sound is not coming out of the TV? Check your output settings if you haven't done so. Often it's automatic but sometimes it doesn't do it...

    Still doesn't work i even uninstalled the sound drivers and video drivers nothn i must have tried everything.. Just got this damn laptop now i juss have probs with it begining to be a big headache...

    If changing the default output sound does not work you may want to take a look at your cable. Do you have another cable to try? Are you sure your volume is up on your TV?

    The only trick to get it working usually is to change your default sound output as linked above.

    Thanks for everyones help. Well it seemed to be the ati drivers for i uninstalled and put the latest on there and everything works now. And also now in the playback devices it shows ati hdmi output 2 of them and i have to set the default on the that and it works now... had nothing to do with the realtek digital output for some reason which everyone was saying that was for the hdmi sound. Does it show hdmi output for anyone else in playback devices?
